Checking Visa before International Travel

These are maintained by the airlines and has up-to-date information on visa requirements between countries. As far as I know, the airlines use this system to check whether a passenger is eligible for travel to the destination country.

Another link of interest is the re-entry requirements into the US for F-1 student visas.
If you are an international student in the US and need to travel outside the US, first visit your school's Office of International Students (or equivalent) to get a signature on your I-20. Then read the link above to see the re-entry requirements into the US or consult your international student advisor if you have questions.
